Granny square calculator
Plan the number of granny squares needed for a blanket, panel or other rectangular layout.
How the granny square layout works
Target width and height are divided by the measured square dimensions. Counts round up to whole squares so the layout reaches the requested size.
Granny square example
Ten-centimeter squares arranged for a 100 × 150 cm blanket require 10 across and 15 down, or 150 squares.
